Criminal AG Ken Paxton Says Target’s Non-Discrimination Policy May Be Criminal

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, a man who has actually been charged and indicted for multiple criminal acts, says Target's completely legal and constitutional non-discrimination policy may be criminal.

To the chagrin of religious and transphobic bigots across the country, the Target store chain recently announced that transgender customers and employees should feel free to use Target restrooms that correspond with the gender they identify as.

This policy, according to indicted fraudster Ken Paxton, could lead to criminal activity in their restrooms.

"It is possible that allowing men in women’s restrooms could lead to criminal and otherwise unwanted activity," Paxton wrote in the letter, according to Fox News. "As chief lawyer and law enforcement officer for the State of Texas, I ask that you provide the full text of Target’s safety policies regarding the protection of women and children from those who would use the cover of Target’s restroom policy for nefarious purposes."

There isn't a single documented case of a transgender individual assaulting someone in a public or private restroom. Zero. The "possibility" is all conservatives have.

It is also possible Ken Paxton is a lizard whose unique, shit-eating smirk represents his attempt to replicate human emotion, but I can't necessarily substantiate that.

I for one am far more concerned that men like Ken Paxton may use the privacy of a bathroom to cover up nefarious acts. Paxton has been indicted for shilling for a private corporation while he was a sitting member of the Texas House of Representatives. Paxton declined to inform any of his colleagues or the state government that he was being paid to shill by the executive of a sham corporation who has also been indicted.

How can we be sure that Ken Paxton did not offer snake-oil investment advice in the restroom?
