In other news, the Treasury Department's inspector general has launched an investigation into who leaked the Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) on Michael Cohen to Stormy Daniels' attorney Michael Avenatti.

Meanwhile, senior diplomats say the Trump regime ignored their dire warnings when deciding to end Temporarily Protected Status (TPS) for hundreds of thousands of asylum seekers from Central America. They warn that deporting them could collapse or destabilize the entire region.

Money sent home by Central Americans and Haitians living in the United States is an engine for job creation that reduces the pressure to go abroad, U.S. diplomats note. These remittances account for nearly 20 percent of the gross domestic product in El Salvador and Honduras and nearly 30 percent in Haiti, according to 2016 World Bank estimates.

And because TPS recipients living in the United States may fear taking their children back, they are more likely to remain in the country unlawfully or seek to return illegally if deported — a bonanza for smuggling networks and gangs, the diplomatic cables said.

Finally, Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir says Saudi Arabia will develop their own nuclear weapons if Iran does.

As I briefly wrote yesterday, the immediate takeaway from North Korea and Iran is that you should go ahead and build nukes. Trump will reward you for building nukes (North Korea) and punish you if you don't (Iran).

Yeah..let’s investigate Avenatti..instead of investigating the horrific abuses of the office of the presidency, we need to get to the bottom of this leaker situation and stop it immediately.

I am not typically a believer in karma, though I do often find myself hoping for it. If America is struck by some kind of crime wave resulting from the unforgivable cruelty of Trump and his voters, I’m gonna have a hard time seeing that as anything other than karma.

The sad thing is that this will inevitably affect people that desperately wanted to keep Donald Trump out of the White House and voted against this rolling catastrophe, but show me a Trump policy that can’t be said about.

Does anyone else think that picture of Trump in the cartoon above kind of looks like Steven Segal? No, I don’t why such a thing would ever occur to me.

Two top officials that could help ameliorate a pandemic are gone, so, we can always hope for a horrible outbreak of disease to thin the herd.
