Do Words Have Meaning? Ron Johnson Doesn’t Think So

Do words have meaning? Does the sun rise in the east? Is Senator Ron Johnson a lizard?

Here in empirical reality words still have meaning, but Senator Ron Johnson and many of his colleagues do not observe empirical reality. Johnson appeared on local radio station WJRN where he said it's been scientifically proven that global warming isn't real.

"First of all, the climate hasn't warmed in quite a few years. I mean, that is proven scientifically. So, that's why they've changed the terminology from global warming to climate change--that covers everything," Johnson said.

I suppose that's true except not at all.

According to NASA, 2016 is on track to become the hottest year ever which is hotter than the last, which was hotter than the last before it, etc etc.

Who are you going to believe, the greatest scientific minds in the world or Ron Johnson?

Ron Johnson once said the LEGO movie is a conspiracy to brainwash children against business.

The man has never been anything but a ‘yes’ man hiding behind an ad campaign. He doesn’t belong in the United States Senate. Last time around he said, contrary to all scientific fact, that the planet was warming but it was doing so because of solar flares. That one was easily debunked by NASA and any scientific blog you would care to check. No correlation in fact. Of course the planet has seen and continues to see a continuous upward temperature trajectory. With what we are putting into the air it would have to. ( see Venus and effects of great amounts of CO2 in atmosphere). That is the way reality works. But Ron Johnson doesn’t work with reality. He works with whatever nonsense his bought and paid for party can concoct to cover up the fact that they are voting against the long term interests of the country in terms of dealing with this problem in particular. As well as many others. Could we please have Russ Feingold back. He was a damned good Senator and we need him.

If 97 medical doctors came to him and told him that he had cancer and 3 said it was inconclusive would he then claim he doesn’t believe he has cancer or that cancer is a hoax? Let’s try it out I say!

“The whole climate change debate gives, and there are all kinds of quotes from adherents of and promoters of climate change, the reason they’re doing it is it’s such a great opportunity to control, you know, pretty much, government, and control your lives.”

I dare Ron Johnson to name one even borderline-sane person who has said anything similar to that. No, the voices in his head don’t count.

“First of all, the climate hasn’t warmed in quite a few years. I mean, that is proven scientifically. So, that’s why they’ve changed the terminology from global warming to climate change–that covers everything,” Johnson said.

Oh, go engage in transverse autoerotic stimulation with an oxidized power tool. Righties—and Fox News presenters, but I do repeat myself—threw an almighty fit every time climate scientists talked about global warming because the globe wasn’t warming uniformly. Finally, tired of the distraction, climate scientists adopted the Righties’ favored alternative term, global climate change. Now Righties throw an almighty fit because climate scientists use that term.

Someone please ask Ron Johnson to walk and chew gum at the same time. The results could be informative.

      I have the weirdest boner.

Global warming would benefit the lizard people. They are cold blooded and need warm rocks to sun themselves on.

Seems like a conflict of interest.

      Suddenly, it all makes sense.
