Fallen Muslim Soldier’s Father Offers Trump a Copy of the Constitution

In case you missed it last night, this may have been one of the most important and iconic speeches anyone has ever given at a political convention or anywhere else.

Khizr Khan, the father of fallen army Captain Humayun Khan, spoke at the Democratic National Convention last night where he directly addressed Donald Trump's bigotry and even pulled out a pocket copy of the Constitution.

"Let me ask you, have you even read the United States Constitution? I will gladly lend you my copy. Look for the word liberty and equal protection of law."

Republicans regularly refer to the alleged existence of their own pocket copies of the Constitution, but if they actually do have one they certainly don't appreciate the words or live by its example.
