Senator Hillary Clinton

"I want to say also that this may be the last day I'm ever involved in a campaign of this kind. I thought I was out of politics, 'til Hillary decided to run. But it has been, one of the greatest honors of my life to go around and campaign for her for president," --President Clinton today. (h/t Sullivan)

Also... Senator Clinton has summoned her contributors to NYC for a special address tomorrow night. Edsall says she could be suspending her campaign. I hope she brings her double-neck guitar and totally SHREDS.

UPDATE: The Clinton campaign is saying it won't be a concession speech (duh), and they're walking back President Clinton's "last day" remarks.

Mr. Clinton, aides said, was referring to the end of the primary season -- there are no remaining places for him to campaign for his wife -- and did not attempt to foreshadow her departure.

Huh? He would campaign for her in general, wouldn't he?

UPDATE THE SECOND: It just hit me. The lyric isn't "Merry Go Round" -- it's "Mem'ry Go Round." Oh those clever, clever rangers of the night!
