I said Trump wasn't kidding when he told attendees at his rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma that he ordered his regime to intentionally stop testing people for the coronavirus, but you don't have to take it from me.
You can assume I know nothing and just take the word of Trump himself who says he wasn't kidding.

Trump went on to repeat the line that if we stopped testing we wouldn't have so many cases which is kind of a joke in itself, but he's not kidding.
Trump seems to think the only reason we have so many cases is because of testing and that other countries would have just as many cases as we do if they tested. But that's entirely backwards, of course, as our testing is still relatively lax and positive test rates are also skyrocketing in some locations.
In any case, it's clear that Trump's only concern is optics and what it all means for him personally.
