I have no data to support this, but I assume that Rick Santorum has a better chance of winning than most of the other lunatics who've entered the race. But that's not saying much.
Santorum won a significant number of states in the 2012 Republican presidential primary, but it remains to be seen if he can convince enough primary voters that new faces like Ted Cruz or Scott Walker are not as reliably batshit as he is.
On the other hand, it's possible today's GOP is too insane even for Rick Santorum. That is saying a lot.
If we're lucky, we'll get another "blah people" moment out of Rick before he decides that this was a bad idea.
