Last Stand

(Cartoonist - Nick Anderson)

In other news, Donald Trump's butler of 17 years apparently called for President Obama to be killed yesterday. So there's that.

Meanwhile, the Environmental Protection Agency has finalized regulations for methane emissions from new oil and gas operations. Expect the next GOP lawsuit to land any day now.

And finally, the wolves are eating their own. The Koch Brothers' Americans for Prosperity group is running ads against Rep. Renee Ellmers (R-NC) because she voted to reauthorize the export-import bank and the last major farm bill, among other things.

The Kochs clearly care more about hindering their business competition than any particular ideology.

You write that as if hindering their business completion and their ideology are two different things.

Isn’t that illegal. Threatening the life of the President of the United States. How is that “butler” any difference than someone like Awalaki calling for Americans to be killed. Isn’t that incitement to murder.
Only the Trump Monster would be fine with shit like this. And the KKK, of course.

    • Yeah, we have freedom of speech, obviously, but the one thing we aren’t allowed to do is to encourage others to kill the President. That’s a big no-no. I hope the Secret Service pay this guy a visit.

I hope the Secret Service pay this guy a visit.

        They should. They won’t.

They fear the Fox News headline that would result and are too cowardly to stand up against that bully.

His rantings sound like every other conservative Internet commenter. Sadly.

Unfortunately, it seems that when conservatives do it, it is overlooked. How many times has professional douchebag, gun-nut, draft-dodger, pants-pooper Ted Nugent threatened the life of President Obama or Hillary Clinton? In fact, for the latter, didn’t he mince around the stage with a firearm in hand discussing placing a machine gun in her private parts and letting loose? Strangely, I heard of no boycotts against him at any time, but then the Dixie Chicks got savaged in the media by claiming they were embarrassed by the Shrub. Anyone who is not acknowledging that there is a double standard in the media on this just is not paying attention.
