Make American Beer Great Again

Sales of Budweiser, the “King of Beers,” have sagged far below its domestic competitors for many years, having been dethroned as the “king” a long time ago, but now sales of Bud Heavy have even fallen below that of craft brews.

In an attempt to reverse this trend, Busch has renamed the beer from Budweiser to “America,” at least temporarily.

“Murica,” if you prefer.

According to Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, this ridiculous marketing gimmick was inspired by his greatness.

“Mr. Trump, do you think you had something to do with Budweiser changing the name of their beer over the summer?” co-host Steve Doocy asked on “Fox and Friends,” mentioning Trump’s “Make America Great Again” slogan.

“I think so. They’re so impressed with what our country will become that they decided to do this before the fact,” Trump responded during the phone interview.

I assume Budweiser will distance themselves from Donald Trump lest they be closely associated with a racist fascist, but I could be wrong.

Who else would you hope to attract other than a Trump voter by renaming your beer to America?

I once had a REAL Budweisser, brewed in the Czech republic. It was a whole lot better than the horse piss….I mean the beachwood aged King of Beers. I’m not a beer snob, but what Anheuser-Busch manufacters (not brews) really is nasty tasting…..just the tipple for Trump supporters.

  • Bud is the perfect metaphor for America. It has slick advertising and shiny, cool packaging. But open it up and what do you have? Substandard piss water.

You know. You have the best words.

      • Oh goody! Now I can run for President and do very, very good things once I win.

I’m sure that whatever you do would be “very classy”.

“Love in a canoe” would be a more family
oriented description of this elixir of Life.

  • Draxiar

If it is, in fact inspired by Drumpf it’s the perfect analogy. Too much will leave a bad taste in your mouth, dizzy, with a headache, and make you eventually throw up.

The Budweiser brand is owned by Anheuser-Busch InBev, a multinational corporation headquartered in Leuven, Belgium.

Yeah, I’m sure the Belgians are so impressed with Donald Trump’s very, very, very good, beautiful, excellent plans for the US they decided to rename their Murcan lager in anticipation of his election.

I’m also sure I just saw a flock of pigs fly overhead.

A bulge in the middle of the can would add more class to the packaging.
