Man With Questionable Judgement Chairs Trump’s Transition Team

Written by SK Ashby

We finally know what position Trump promised to Chris Christie in exchange for his endorsement.

The New Jersey governor has been chosen by Trump to chair his transition team in the event that Trump wins.

“Governor Christie is an extremely knowledgeable and loyal person with the tools and resources to put together an unparalleled Transition Team, one that will be prepared to take over the White House when we win in November,” Trump said in a quote released Monday morning as part of a campaign statement.

Chris Christie is a man who has found himself surrounded on all sides by close staff members and appointees who've been implicated or actually charged with crimes related to the politically-motivated closure of the George Washington Bridge. Christie actually claimed he didn't really know former Port Authority executive David Wildstein, who plead guilty, even though they went to high school together.

With that in mind, Christie has been chosen to select more potential appointees and staff members.

Six of New Jersey's largest newspapers have called on Christie to resign.
