McConnell Sounds the Alarm: We Might Have to Be Bipartisan

Written by SK Ashby

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has issued a dire warning: if we fail to repeal Obamacare, we might have to actually engage with Democrats!

McConnell reportedly spoke to Trump over the phone and told him they might have to talk to some of their fellow classmates who have cooties, or something.

McConnell delivered a similar warning Monday to Republican senators at his leadership meeting and to top GOP staffers, warning that Democrats will want to retain as much of Obamacare as possible in a bipartisan negotiation, according to Republican aides.

“If we fail, we’re going to be negotiating with [Democratic Leader] Chuck Schumer,” said one Republican staffer.

Trump has repeatedly blasted Democrats for not engaging, but that's obviously a misnomer. Democrats were completely shut out of McConnell's process. Even most Republicans were shut out of McConnell's process.

McConnell doesn't want to work with Democrats because it will divide his own caucus. Trump, on the other hand, doesn't even know what's happening and couldn't care less. He's just a whiny diaper baby sitting on a throne of lies.
