In other news, one of FCC Chairman Ajit Pai's top advisers on broadband access has been arrested and charged with fraud for tricking investors into investing $250 million in a fake fiber optic network scheme.

Meanwhile, Alex Jones and InfoWars are being sued for defamation yet again, this time by the parents of children killed at Sandy Hook in 2012. Jones has long said the school shooting was a hoax.

Finally, the CEO of SCL Group, the parent company of Cambridge Analytica, was caught on tape comparing Trump's 2016 election strategy to Hitler's strategy.

"It's the things that resonate — some of those to attack the other group and know that you're going to lose them is going to reinforce and resonate your group. [...]

"Of course, Hitler attacked the Jews. He didn't have a problem with the Jews at all, but the people didn't like the Jews... so he just leveraged an artificial enemy.

"Well, that's exactly what Trump did. He leveraged a Muslim."

Cambridge Analytica has released a statement distancing the company from the CEO of their parent company. I'm not sure how that's suppose to work.

Cambridge began testing Trump's campaign platform in 2014 according to company whistleblower Christopher Wylie, so Hitler/Trump's message was their message. They did this

These people have turned the United States gov’t into a damned fire sale.

II’m not sure it’s worth suing pond scum like Alex Jones. It might just give him publicity and allow to claim he’s being victimized by the Deep State or the Illuminati or the lizard people or whatever his audience of mushrooms believe in this particular week. That said, I hope they bankrupt the son of a ßit¢h.

  • I saw a bumper sticker yesterday that said, “Proud to be deplorable”. They’re proud of supporting a man who purposely used the same tactics as Hitler. These are the kinds of things that make me want to go hide under the bed for about 25 years.

      “Proud to be deplorable”

Because THE most important thing to them is that they get to harm someone else. If supporting Trump frustrates people they like to insult, then that’s all that matters.

I got into a bit of an argument with someone I work with a couple of months ago. She was going off on Hillary Clinton for some unknowable reason and said Clinton’s calling Trump supporters “deplorables” was the stupidest thing anyone has ever said.

I pointed out that Clinton’s full comment was that half of Donald Trump’s supporters were racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic and Islamophobic, and therefore belonged in “the basket of deplorables.” My co-worker instantly said, “You must be a Clinton supporter.”

I said who I voted for was irrelevant, I was talking about objective reality. Her response floored me: “I never heard that.” I told her to look it up, but I doubt she did.

Calling oneself deplorable is to declare oneself a genuinely terrible human being. Say what you will, they deserve points for honesty.

They’re like the high school quarterback who’s 42 now and goes to the bar in his varsity jacket bragging that it still fits.

The Parkland kids were back in school two weeks after 17 people were shot dead. This bunch got called deplorable two years ago and they still can’t go 24 hours without moaning about it.
