It's beginning. The "drill baby drill" crowd are beginning to change their story.
Remember when gas prices were in the $4 range? The Republicans began to propose offshore oil drilling as a solution. It was all specifically about offshore drilling. And at the Republican convention, the "drill baby drill" chant was introduced as a means of rallying support for more offshore drilling.
Sarah Palin, true to form, is now lying about this. She's suggesting it was all about land-based drilling and not offshore.
