Racism

Paul LePage is Speaking Again

Written by SK Ashby

If Paul LePage is speaking, you know what that means: stupid racist shit is coming out of his mouth.

Governor and Man Who Somehow Got Elected Paul LePage attended a town hall in the city of North Berwick last night where he talked about drug dealers.

The last time LePage spoke about drug dealers, he said dealers named "Smoothy" and "D-Money" have come to Maine to impregnate the state's supply of young white girls. LePage later went on to say that Smoothy and D-Money should be executed or shot.

Last night during the town hall meeting, LePage reiterated that the drug dealers he wants to execute are all black and Hispanic. Moreover, LePage claimed that he is personally tracking them.

“Let me tell you this, explain to you, I made the comment that black people are trafficking in our state, now ever since I said that comment I’ve been collecting every single drug dealer who has been arrested in our state,” LePage said. “I don’t ask them to come to Maine and sell their poison, but they come and I will tell you that 90-plus percent of those pictures in my book, and it’s a three-ringed binder, are black and Hispanic people from Waterbury, Conn., the Bronx and Brooklyn.”

You might say Paul LePage has a binder full of women black men.

For the record, the state of Maine is over 90 percent white according to the U.S. census bureau. As I said when Governor LePage first blamed the state's drug problems on "D-Money," the cast of drug dealers is main probably more closely resembles the cast of Fargo than The Wire. Maine is one of the whitest states in the union.

If the governor is indeed keeping a physical record of black and Hispanic drug dealers in a binder, as he claims, I can only hope local reporters will query the contents of those public records.
