School House Crock

Artist - RJ Matson

In other news, The New York Times is reporting that House Republicans have virtually no plans to take up any further major legislation in 2012.

Of course we already kind of assumed that. It's been lame-duck since the Tea Party took over in 2010. The only bills that have passed since then have been the result of hostage scenarios and austerity trolling.

The Violence Against Women Act and the Transportation omnibus spending bill still haven't been passed. And the media will kindly ignore this.

    That’s a bloody brilliant cartoon!

The GOP maintaining status quo. This is their idea of governing…holding the country’s business hostage to their narrow, extremist agenda. Newt Gingrich tried this in ’95 and it didn’t work for him. I have to think this shit will wear thin on the American people some time; I just fear that instead of placing the blame on those who deserve it and making them pay the consequences people will just go more apathetic and quit giving a shit–those few who do actually give a shit now.

As long as people let the GOP continue this without consequences, they’ll keep doing it. Been working for around 30 years so far so what reason do they have to change? None, until enough people wise up and vote these assholes out. Otherwise, we’ll all be paying the consequences for a long time.

At this point, anything shot of offering to give a republican a blow job during the interview is considered “liberal biased” reporting.

“And the media will kindly ignore this.”

Of course if they do mention it, it will be along the lines of, “Congress fails to pass XYZ legislation.” Laying the blame squarely at the feet of the obstructionists would be biased.
