In other news, former New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg dropped out of the Democratic presidential primary this morning and endorsed Joe Biden. Biden cleaned up last night and took the delegate lead.

Meanwhile, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) says the United States only has about 1 percent(!) of number of face masks needed if the coronavirus spreads into a pandemic.

Finally, global warming provided another temporary boost to the economy in February according to unofficial numbers.

The ADP National Employment Report on Wednesday showed private payrolls rose by 183,000 jobs last month as warmer weather boosted hiring at construction sites and in the leisure and hospitality industry. Data for January was revised down to show private payrolls rising by 209,000 instead of the previously reported 291,000 surge. Moody’s Analytics chief economist Mark Zandi told reporters that he had not seen anything to suggest a hit to the labor market from the coronavirus in the period after the survey week. • I’ll give some credit to Bloomberg, he dropped out and has pledged to continue supporting Democratic candidates up and down the ballot. I hated that he was running, but as long as he follows up with his support, I’ll forgive this vanity project.

I am a Warren supporter but if the Democratic voters choose Biden, then I’m all in. I was on a website yesterday and a bunch of Bernie supporters were wailing and gnashing teeth and promising not to vote in November. Screw them. If Trump wins again, WE ARE DONE. I don’t care who wins the nomination, they must beat Trump and that means people have to vote.

I have as much concern about Biden’s chances in the general election as I do with Sanders, albeit for different reasons. Truthfully I very much favor Sanders both ideologically and strategically. I think he’s a better campaigner than Biden and I’m nervous that the R’s will turn Ukraine into Hillary’s Emails. His gaffes are more than a little troubling. Of course if it’s Biden, I’m all in.

Don’t be surprised if Trump uses that global warming stat at one of his Nazi, Nuremberg, Klan rallies as a joke.
