According to Buzzfeed, Roger Stone has been permanently banned from Twitter.

Here’s a pic of Roger with Paul Manafort and Lee Atwater

    Well now, this is interesting.
Matt McDermott @matttmfm : “Unreal: A single secret donor spent $17.9 MILLION to block Obama’s SCOTUS nominee.
    Our democracy is broken”

In the late seventies, early eighties, there were “request” lines on radio shows, at least in Houston. They would even record your voice and play it before the song..

Until and unless we get control of our voting system, with a verifiable and secure chain of custody, it won’t matter how many democratic votes there are..then on top of that, there is (are) the whole propaganda and truth issues. If they change vote totals, we will have more Rumps in office.

When you make the goal, how’s about a MWF arrangement? Think about it..might be easier to digest the crap fest with a day in between the shows, and we wouldn’t have to go so long from Thursday without your radiant presence in our lives…
Martyr or not, Rump must go, he must be disciplined, it’s a matter of restoring national integrity. Buzz, that 30-35 percent will probably always be with us, just as the Tea Party will always be with us. Yeah, these Repub investigations should be investigated themselves for waste of taxpayer money. They are shameless and disgusting.

  • Polling and Approval/Disapproval – those numbers may not reflect what’s actually going on currently.
There’s an elasticity between events and public reaction to those events.

We’re not terribly well-informed to begin with, and even once we do hear the news, an awful lot of us wait until we’ve heard what our friends and family and colleagues have to say about it before “making up our minds”. Basically, we’re waiting for some kind of cultural (or tribal) consensus so we’ll know what we’re supposed to think – so we won’t risk being embarrassed or ostracized if we choose the “wrong” reaction.

But second, we’ve know for a long time about manipulation of opinion (Magritte, Chomsky et al); it’s possible we’ve seen how the “results” of all that opinion polling can be manicured and tweaked and customized far beyond what we’ve always assumed, even to the point of changing votes without the need to hack the voting machines themselves. (PoliSci 201. If the result of any given vote is a surprise, something’s wrong with your system – and check for weevils first)

Until or unless we get a shitload of the Russia Investigations’ findings open to public view, we won’t know the scope of the problem, which means we can only guess at where to start.

PBS was re-running Ken Burns program about the Roosevelts ( Teddy and Franklin) tonight and I thought of all the extraordinary people who have occupied that office. And the situation that this country finds itself in now. And then I listened to Senator Jeff Flake’s statement and heard the voice of that kind of extraordinary person again. He summed up perfectly what the American identity is. If there is no room in the GOP for a man like this, what kind of America is it that the they are, as Bill O’Reilly referred to it, “transitioning” the country to. One of untruths and continual lying as a means to cover up that for which there is no excuse?

Let’s let Rump keep “reminding” us about ‘Russia/Investigation’, maybe if he does that enough, more of his “base” will get curious and look it up! We could always use some of them come the midterms!

  • The KGB Ate Our Votes

“You want a president who’s tough and mean, but a little bit cute”
Mr. Burbank, you are a delight. 🙂

  • As always, an entertaining show.

C’mon people let’s make that Wednesday show happen!!! Mama needs a new show!
