BTW, the name Dana Boente. If you’re not familiar with him google the details. He resigned suddenly Friday… it might be connected to Mueller’s indictment.

  • Zero Dark Thirsty ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

So much is going on Friday night .. by now you all know the news of Mueller indictment coming down of a yet unnamed person is blowing up across media. Fox and RW’ers are going fking nuts.. spinning, deflecting.. the usual.. About an hour after it broke on Fri night Trump had the audacity to retweet a video RW NY POST (created for him obviously) that smeared Hillary with lies and defended him (surely this is illegal for a pres to do??!!)

I made a list to hit RW trolls with and thought i’d share it here (after listening to your podcast).. some of it doesn’t apply to any of you of course.. it’s directed to them.. but the general info below may be of some interest and use to everyone. cheers!

      The uranium conspiracy:
these links cover that non story perfectly:

      1) https://t.co/EBUdt62huE
      2) https://t.co/2iQ4YVsqyt
      3) a bonus: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DNFUiZoXkAEIwSP.jpg

The dossier nonsense RW media are twisting because they know their audience are complete airheads:

      1) All campaigns do oppo research. It’s normal, always done and legal
      2) Colluding (actually in law written as “coordinated”) in any way with a foreign entity for the advancement of a campaign in the US is illegal

Side note – the way it’s written: But election laws use the wording ‘coordinated’ and makes it illegal for U.S. candidates to coordinate their efforts with foreign persons

      3) Fusion GPS is a legit, well known, often used, USA company who gets paid to do oppo research for candidates both on the L and the R
      4) **The Washington Free Beacon originally hired Fusion GPS to do oppo and dig up dirt on Trump
      5) When Trump got the nomination, The Washington Free Beacon backed out of the research. At that point a DNC connected attorney,*Mark Elias picked up the continuation of this legal operation by Fusion GPS to dig up dirt on Trump
      6) It was after Elias picked up the tab to Fusion’s work, that Fusion GPS hired well known and respected British operative, an ex spy, Christopher Steele, who had years of connections dealing with Russia.
      7) The “dossier” is information that came to light through Steele’s work for Fusion GPS
      8) What he did, what Fusion did, what the DNC did, what The Washington Free Beacon , is not only legal it is normal oppo research done by campaigns.
      9) Now this part is important: So far, some of the dossier has been investigated and proven to be ACCURATE, none of it has been proven to be inaccurate.. (just some parts are still questionable like the golden showers part).

Now separate from that, this is how Fox News and right wing media are trying to spin this and confuse their base with propaganda

      1) It’s a FACT that not only did Trump Jr meet with some Russian operatives; it showed up in email conversations, he admitted it, he pretended to not know it was illegal, he lied about the details.. more than once and each and every time he was quickly shown to be lying.

      2) It is also a known fact that the official written statement he released in his own defense, was proven to be a lie too, and then it was proven that his (defense) statement was written on AF1 . Importantly (any rational person knows) Trump was in on this decision to make a statement (and) that Trump played a huge part in the fabricated statement they represented to the press.

      https://www.google.com/search?num=50&newwindow=1&source=hp&ei=25HyWeUTlJyNA5W0sZgP&q=donald+trump+jr+statement+was+written+on+air+force+1&oq=donald+trump+jr+statement+was+written+on+air+force+1&gs_l=psy-ab.3…1402.9669.0.9990.53.30.0.0.0.0.477.2929.0j8j5j0j1.14.0….0…1.1.64.psy-ab..39.2.564.0..0j35i39k1j0i67k1j0i131k1j0i20i264k1.0.vlpahzr0yGE

      3) This one issue.. this one single issue alone, proves lying on the part of the family, and Trump himself, his intent to cover this up for his son…. the clear (intent of) collusion in the meeting at Trump Tower ..the aftermath of lying, and then the letter written on AF1, (clearly composed, more or less by Trump) that turned out to be another lie. Jr himself released his email that said he was “excited” to get oppo research on Hillary from a Russian connection.

Sorry but you cannot spin this …..

What Fusion GPS, Hillary’s campaign, the DNC, the Washington Free Beacon and Marc Elias did is not … NOT illegal and is actually routine oppo work for a campaign

What Donald Trump and his family did is illegal
And they turned it into an Abbot and Costello act with lies on top of lies on top of lies to the point even they couldn’t keep track of their own bullshlt.

*Marc Elias 1) is the chair of Perkins Coie’s Seattle based Political Law practice. His practice focuses on representing public officials, candidates, parties, corporations, tax-exempt organizations and Political Action Committees (PACs) in connection with campaign finance, governmental ethics, lobbying disclosure and white-collar criminal defense matters. His clients include numerous FORTUNE 500 corporations, national nonprofit organizations, lobbying firms, Am Law 100 law firms, prominent individuals, candidates and campaigns.
        2) Served as counsel to both Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee in 2016.
        3) Hired Fusion GPS in the spring of 2016
        4) He drew from funds he was authorized to spend without oversight by campaign officials, according to a spokesperson for his law firm.
        5) Elias kept the information about the investigation closely held as he advised the campaign on its strategy, according to a spokesperson
        6) His firm, Perkins Coie, represent many of the party’s political committees and candidates. Elias also has worked on behalf of companies such as Facebook, fighting in 2011 to exempt the social media network from disclaimer rules on political ads
        7) In September, he accompanied former Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta to a closed-door interview with Senate Intelligence Committee staffers, during which Podesta said he had no knowledge of payments to Fusion GPS
        8) At the time, it was not publicly known Elias had hired Fusion GPS; that was revealed by WaPo. Elias, who was there as Podesta’s lawyer, did not participate in the interview as a witness
        9) After the Free Beacon stopped funding the project, Fusion GPS founder Glenn Simpson met with Elias at his Washington law office and asked if he was interested … Elias agreed, deciding Fusion GPS had more capacity than the campaign’s in-house operation to do sophisticated research, according to the Perkins Coie spokesperson. Elias drew from funds that both the Clinton campaign and the DNC were paying Perkins Coie
        10) Elias himself did not receive the dossier but was briefed on some of the information in it, according to his firm’s spokesperson. The dossier was published by BuzzFeed after the election.

**The Washington Free Beacon is a conservative publication that receives financing from billionaire and influential GOP donor, Paul Singer. Singer was a supporter/backer of Marco Rubio. There is no indication that Rubio knew about this (as he’s stated) and it wouldn’t matter if he did. Nothing about this was shady or illegal.

No cures due to most money goes to make more money for drug companies by money going to make more drugs for symptoms…pure cancer research is the only thing thing that will turn up a cure, but there’s no return on that for drug companies. I don’t even believe Rump will ever be held accountable for anything. So far there’s been the “pussygrabbing” tape, paying off officials and litigants in the fake university scandal, plus hundreds of others..it’s depressing. “His generals” sounds like a banana republic dictator. What I think we’ve learned is that they can put up a fool, a clown, a dangerous dictator, and it will still be R’s vs D’s. They don’t care.

As one of your replies on twitter (Sammy@sabanawan) noted, if you encourage your followers at this site to bookmark the Amazon link it is a violation of their terms of service. Something similar happened to someone else with same result.
I believe he did it in writing and I know I have heard you do it verbally. This could be the source of your current predicament with Amazon. “Fine print” problem. Maybe sic Beau on them.

  • Every time I hear that Palin bit, “It’s a big darn dill”….my brain automatically completes the sentence with “pickle”!

You know the 25+% that approve of Trump? Well, they live all around me. I’m surrounded by the morons. One guy at work joked that he was “alt-reich” in a company meeting. I ALMOST said but restrained myself, “Thanks for identifying yourself as a Nazi sympathizer. Good intel to have if it comes to a shooting war.” I think I drew blood when I bit my tongue.

A drum that needs to be beat HARD is that there is no split in the GOP. As muselet said elsewhere, their dispute is about the style of how they achieve their agenda, not regarding the agenda itself. And that’s why Flake, Corker, Sasse and McCain will continue to vote right along with the rest of the GOP. So their words are just smoke up our asses and, of course, the Media is lapping it right up.

And in 3…2…1….they’ll blame HRC for Smith’s death. They’re all nutters.

  • Hearing about Paula is a bummer. I hope she gets better soon. (Hope that was enough sans sap).

Of course he has access to all of the information ahead of raids, etc., but we know he’s GOT to be functionally illiterate! Besides, if he doesn’t know before the fact, how can he possibly be responsible for ANYTHING? Short answer, he can’t!! Which is alright, actually, All the easier to erase him from our history!! Please send your friend Paula my love and best wishes. Thanx!!
