The Ninth Circuit has appointed a special prosecutor to challenge the Arpaio pardon. It is hard not to notice that trump is angling to use the power to pardon as a means of shielding himself from future criminal liability. That would be an abuse of the powers granted to the presidency. I’m quite sure the framers of the Constitution never intended the power be used to obstruct justice.

Wednesday morning, trying to get the show under my belt (so to speak) before I open another window on my tablet only to discover it’s a brave new world of insanity and nothing you guys are saying applies to the crazy that’s happened after you taped. Hmm..a mini series on what’s happening..what term could apply..? “Procto-drama?” “Docu-oscopy?” This whole taint team, special master bs is just another delaying or ameliorating tactic to bury evidence. I’m afraid things will slip through the cracks. I’m very afraid that the rule of law is in danger..look at McConnell’s refusal to allow any protective legislation for Mueller to see the light of day. Comey needs to try to take down Rump, but…he really is responsible for the current situation. Just like Sanders. Remove either, or both, we might have seen a different outcome. Thanks Buzz..I thought the same thing, wouldn’t it be great if Fox, Hannity, National Enquirer and others took a mortal wound from all this. Problem is, we’ve all always known none of them have any ethics or ever had any ethics and have functioned profitably all this time flouting any kind of morals or professional ethics.

  • Another good show!

I don’t think we can say where we are at in Trump’s official occupation of the WH. Things have been too much in flux to even guess what’s happening day to day, much less to take a larger view.

Forget where I read this but Trump supporters either assume that he must have done some shady things to stay rich (because they assume that all rich people cheat and lie and steal) or they they live so exclusively in the Fox News world that they don’t read or hear people reporting on his lies and even when they do, they think the rest of the Media is out to get him. IMHO Trump supporters are willing to forgive him of things they would not forgive their own family members for.
