  • It’s rare but I do occasionally disagree with you. There are actually two different types of Trump followers. First are the narcissists/fame whore’s. I’m familiar with Posobiec’s background since he started out in the Game of Thrones fandom arena. He, in particular, will do ANYTHING to be famous and/or get attention and he thinks that being a Trump follower is the way to do that. I believe that’s true of other folks like Tomi Lahren, and Diamond and Silk, etc. The second group of followers are the ignorant. Folks like my mother and one of my sisters who are not very educated, live in the propaganda bubble of Fox News and evangelical paternalistic authoritarianism, and are more than a little racist (no matter their protestations to the contrary). The fame whore’s we could eliminate by simply ignoring them but we know the MSM can’t and won’t do that. The second group, which is far larger, is a serious problem. Even so, I don’t think the Dems can woo them away from their lifelong held beliefs. Ultimately I think we have to build a coalition of “everyone else” in order to defeat them in elections. And long term, the only way to get rid of them is to chip away at the propaganda bubble while we wait for their culture to die out. That’s why I say it will take decades to undo the damage that Trump has done.

There are some things in America’s history and culture that they cannot put a ‘smiley face’ on no matter how hard they try.
Americans have always been about building. It’s time to build something better. For the future, if not for the present.

  • Badgerite

“Decency and decorum.” That’s it exactly. I’m so sick of this outhouse that is trump and his supporters.

  • Badgerite

People aren’t going to forget this. Roseanne’s career is over.

  • Badgerite

Note to Roseanne. Crazy, vicious, dishonest, cruel, malicious racism is NOT funny.
Get back on the meds, dear.

I couldn’t believe they allowed Roseanne back on tv in the first’s like if they were going to elect Donald Rump to be president..oh, my safe mental space encroaching on reality again? Everyone knew what Roseanne (Rump) was all about..why give her(him) a platform? Yes’s the ridiculous lies..I can’t figure out why in hell we simply allow the “president” to spout lies with zero pushback or consequences. I have to admit being gleeful that Roseanne was cancelled. She is a truly repugnant person. Something alarming I’ve been noticing is the propaganda like “other tv shows cancelled for ridiculous reasons” search suggestion/chyron appearing in the “reactions to Roseanne cancellation” google search, and “Americans want Bill O’Reilly back on tv,”’s obvious propaganda, I’d love to know who’s responsible for it. (Maybe change the show name to ‘Rosie’ and use Rosie O’Donnell with all the same cast..that would get their goat!! I’m not on Twitter, if you like the idea, twit it! Twit madly!) No, Buzz, she didn’t apologize to Chelsea, she typed the words, but she was clearly being sarcastic.

Again, we are allowing the alleged president to “tweet” whatever outrageous lie he wants every day. Why can’t we impeach him simply on the basis that he is putting lie after lie after lie out there every single day? We allow our president to lie every day now? Yeah, his “lie average” is considerably higher than six per day. At what point is it irresponsible of Mueller to allow Rump to continue to be president when he knows he shouldn’t be? It’s obvious there is a bunch of criminal activity, shouldn’t they say something to get him removed from office while they continue to investigate? (Things left not covered,.Rump’s horrible, inappropriate Memorial Day comments..)
