McMasters’ reputation was destroyed the moment he agreed to hook up with Trump. I would daresay that applies to anyone who associates with Trump. And if they can’t see that, then they have it coming.

David Brooks and David Frum hate Trump. I follow Frum on twitter and he’s a hoot – he has some great zingers.

As for Brooks – he had a few things to say about Trump in his article and it’s a doozie! Here’s an excerpt:

First, most adults have learned to sit still. But mentally, Trump is still a 7-year-old boy who is bouncing around the classroom. Trump’s answers in these interviews are not very long — 200 words at the high end — but he will typically flit through four or five topics before ending up with how unfair the press is to him.

His inability to focus his attention makes it hard for him to learn and master facts. He is ill informed about his own policies and tramples his own talking points. It makes it hard to control his mouth. On an impulse, he will promise a tax reform when his staff has done little of the actual work.

Second, most people of drinking age have achieved some accurate sense of themselves, some internal criteria to measure their own merits and demerits. But Trump seems to need perpetual outside approval to stabilize his sense of self, so he is perpetually desperate for approval, telling heroic fabulist tales about himself

“In a short period of time I understood everything there was to know about health care,” he told Time. “A lot of the people have said that, some people said it was the single best speech ever made in that chamber,” he told The Associated Press, referring to his joint session speech.

By Trump’s own account, he knows more about aircraft carrier technology than the Navy.

BTW, Joe Lieberman is special counsel at the firm that represents Trump.. haven’t heard any media mention this yet.

New sound track for you, Bob, when you talk about “The Lonely Man” Trump, and perfect for voice-overs:

This was the music in my head as you and Buzz ended the show today.

    • Aynwrong

Thumbs IP for the perfect trolling music and for hitting the nostalgia button.

T’was hoping someone would “get it”. 🙂

  • From what I’ve read the secrets that Trump revealed to the Russians is based on Israeli assets who have been in embedded in ISIS for a very long time so he is definitely putting their lives in danger. But even if that info is incorrect, ISIS paranoia will probably cause an internal purge which will also put lives in danger (some of whom are obviously not innocent but some who are).

I don’t think there are tapes. Further on that point, Comey’s memos were a VERY good idea since contemporaneous recollections have long been seen as excellent legal evidence. Comey was smart enough to CYA. And to be honest, anyone who is truly innocent and working for Trump who isn’t writing down things contemporaneously in order to protect themselves are idiots. I would be documenting Trump’s perfidy and my innocence like a mofo.

    “Investigation Boggle” is what you guys were playing..”got it…got it…got it…got it…”

  • katanahamon

This is Rump’s fondest desire despite the fact we know it’s all negative, because he is in the news 24/7, it’s all anyone can talk about. He wants to be in the biggest hope is that he is removed from office and serves serious time.

    • Kitty Donnelly

I hope you serve a life sentence loser

      • katanahamon

Very constructive. Must be a Rump supporter.

        • Kitty Donnelly

No I voted for the loser Clinton. You probably did not vote . You idiot.

The surrogates going out and bald faced lying, from the White House for god’s sake, when will reporters say “why should we believe anything you say? Are we just documenting today what will turn out to be a big f’ing lie tomorrow?” Basically no truth is coming out of the White House, at what point does this damage our reputation internationally..? Rhetorical question..I guess..file under “too late..”

By the time this was posted..there’s even more bullshit to be sifted. Now apparently there are notes made by Comey that indicate Rump asked him to cease investigating Flynn..obstruction much? When will people realize there is the equivalent of an insane toddler trying to be president? How ridiculous will it get? Will we allow him to start a war? One positive of all this is we see that Fox and Breitbart are willing to go to any lengths, any insanity, tell any lie to keep their guy in power.
