As far as I’m concerned, Rump has already “gotten away” with far too much. His criminal activities have either been unexplored, he’s paid people off (for not investigating his fake university, then paying off the litigants) or blatantly ignored his unethical behavior. Now we are witnessing the complete and utter destruction of the office of the presidency, because if someone like Rump can be elected and then not immediately removed for incompetence and criminality, who’s next? Alex Jones for president? Kim Kardashian?

I went back to the 6/13/2013 episode where the Snowden leak was first discussed on the show (it’s uncanny to consider that it was 4 years ago almost to the day of this episode, btw) and it’s mighty interesting to listen to it knowing what we know now.

Well, starting to eat right before Bob described Trump’s cabinet meeting was a mistake.

    • Kimberley

      LOL

  • Well, Sessions and the other lying sons of bishes have set the precedent that it’s okay to not answer Congress’ questions. Of course, the first time a Dem does it, the GOP will go berserk.

You guys are right on the nose. The Russian objective was to make us distrust the system and this fed into Sanders supporters on the left and Trump supporters on the right. Also remember that there is a long history of low participation with American voters for a variety of reasons, two of which is distrust in the system and apathy due to the two party system. Putin just took advantage of our little internal Charlie Foxtrot.

At the end of Session’s testimony did you notice he told McCain that his greatest concern was the Russian meddling and obviously this contradicts all the times he said he NEVER expressed any curiosity about it before.

“Disgusting” is the perfect adjective for that fawning cabinet meeting. It made me sick to my stomach to watch them fluffing him. (Bob, congrats, you made me gag a bit)

    Great show!

OMG. Vladimir Putin and the FSB are the new J. Edgar. Confidential files and all.
And J. Edgar Hoover had Washington DC by the (fill in the blank) for decades. Nobody dared touch him.
Putin is ragging around in a “brand new Edgar suit”. (see MIB)

    Excellent show!

Bob, you actually fooled me at first with your Alex Jones voice. *lovingly shakes fist in Bob’s direction*

Kimberley, you are 100% awesome! I love having your insight on the show and After Party. *stands and applauds*

As far a that crap about “well, he’s new here”, is such a load of garbage! He is in Washington D.C. now, and there are literally HUNDREDS of qualified people that he could have hired (still can) who can explain all of this shit about procedures to him. It’s not like he was thrown into the deep end sans help. My lady friend’s mother who is 94, can’t look at him without saying, sadly, Why doesn’t someone just shoot him! I really resisted, but I’m beginning to see her point!

  • ProudLiberalAlways

These particular Rethugs are going to keep looking the other way, (seeing, hearing, and speaking no evil) until their party is horribly damaged by this travesty. Don’t cry for them, they allowed this to happen when they turned over all of their carefully developed party infrastructure and the relevant lists to the T-Party morons!

    • Scopedog

Methinks their party is already horribly damaged. Yet somehow, they keep insisting on continuing to head over the cliff.

And you’re right–they deserve no sympathy. They chose to allow the T-Party to take over, chose to embrace a no-holds barred far Right viewpoint.

    You “supported Bernie but…”

Bernie is not nor has he EVER BEEN a Democrat. he is single handedly destroying the Democratic party, a party, he has NEVER been a part of or belonged to. He was not a Democrat when he tried to run on the ticket, he didn’t become a Democrat, and he is not to this day a member of the Democratic Party. it’s like he’s being paid behind closed doors by the Trumpettes.

Thanks Bernie! … I just can’t listen to this anymore.

    • Kimberley

But I do not anymore. I choose not to bash…although I have explained why I don’t on previous shows.

    • Kimberley

I support(ed) his ideas. I also supported and voted for Hillary.

      • mnpollio

There is no need to apologize. The anti-Bernie-ites are just as bad as the anti-Clinton-ites. You do not have to apologize for supporting Sanders ideals or voting for Clinton. Period.

    • katanahamon

Very much agree.. Even the Repubs don’t have such a high level media figure trying to take them down constantly in every appearance. The negativity Bernie generates has been the most destructive element for the democrats. Bernie is always having to ride the coattails of someone else due to his own inability to forge alliances or produce positive results, such as his recent appearances after the British elections.

  • Nan Moder

You may be on to something with the Illinois hacking thing. I was transitioning from married to single, moving to a new county and I was denied a absentee ballot even though I had proof of registration. They gave me a huge run around. I supported Bernie. Now you have me wondering…. my appreciation on this light bulb moment.

  • Nan Moder

Kimberley Johnson is one smart cookie. I’m so happy that things are going your way. Terrific show. Blessings Bob, ( and Kimberley, too). Nan

    • Kimberley

      TY!
