    Thanks, guys…

The polls were all wrong. He really did have a “silent majority” out there in the hinterlands, and those fuckers showed up to vote.
Now we will all pay dearly.

Hi, Bob. Hi, Chez. I’ve been listening to you guys for years, and even though I don’t always agree with you, I’m generally a fan. One of the big things I disagreed with was your opinion on Bernie Sanders, especially in comparison to Hillary Clinton.

Hillary was experienced. Hillary was qualified. Hillary had the power of the Democratic establishment and moderate Republicans behind her. Bernie was too mich of an outsider. A self-proclaimed socialist had no chance. Picking Tim Kaine as VP was a smart move, and fellow liberals whining about how she seemed to be taking progressives for granted were dismissed as petulent Millenials.

I disagreed. I posted a few comments, pointing out that no matter how qualified she was, 30+ years of constant slander crippled her as a candidate. That the perception that she was entrenched in the establishment and disconnected from voters were huge liabilities in any election, let alone one so marked by furious resentment of the status quo by people on both sides. Other folks around here shouted me down. My points didn’t matter. Bernie never had a chance.

So I quieted down. I sucked it up. I defended Hillary to my friends and family, I looked past my issues with some of her positions and statements and decided that not only was she the lesser of two evils, she was the only sane choice.

And she was. She was the sane choice. She was the lesser evil. But this election needed a greater good.

On behalf of your Millenial listeners, I’d just like to say: fuck. We were really hoping you knew what you were talking about.

Assuming we’re still a democracy in four years, maybe next time you’ll back the guy we like?

I loved Chez’s comment. Citizen voter. Hero. Exactly.

An answer for Chez—-if Rump wins tonite, we will be Idiocracy. If you want a better picture, re-watch the movie.

  • Badgerite

Wow. The Boss. Give ’em hell. Let’s be the America of Lincoln. Not David Duke.

Bob you’re spot on!!! “basket of deplorables” was no gaff, it was however, an unfortunate underestimation.
You’re also right, Michelle Obama would make an excellent legislator or Cabinet member—–she’s eminently qualified. I for one, would like to see her as a Supreme Court Justice. Should we petition? at White

Vote for Alex Jones’ version of Hillary Clinton,

and kick Trump and his ghouls (both in picture) to the curb!

    USA! USA! USA!…

  • Please don’t ever use that clip of Alex Jones again….it sounded vile.

Haven’t listened to the show yet but I turned on MSNBC and changed the channel immediately because they were interviewing Rudy Giuliani and on CNN they have on Ben Carson. So I hit the mute button. A brilliant surgeon who does everything he can to come off as a twit and a genuinely malevolent ghoul who made honoring 9/11 obnoxious.

And now CNN moves onto it’s panel. It’s. Nine. Person. Panel. Useless. Just useless.

    Glad you guys are here.

It’s no “glitch,” it’s lies being sold as absolute fact by Fox and right wingers, and we must, must change this or we will be permanently polarized into two factions. We cannot even have a discussion anymore about politics when the response from the right is “Hillary is a felon (not) guilty of so many crimes (not) etc etc etc etc etc (not not not not not and..not).” When obvious lies like this are being presented you can only imagine the subtle things the right is getting away with. Truth..we have to get back to truth as the goal of media presentation.

  • Thank you Baby Jeebus for the Bob & Chez Show! It helps me keep the voices at bay. And by voices I mean the sound of cable news pundits pontificating on absolutely nothing of value.
