My God, Rump has new people running his campaign, and we’re back to chants of ‘build that wall’! Where’s the change? And now Rump is calling his campaign the fight of our lives. Whaaaaaat?

  • josephebacon

I’m just waiting for Trump to have his Mantan Moreland moment…

  • 82 days?! This is the Bataan Death March of Elections.

    • Aynwrong

This particular “Death March” has always cheered me up.

This march always brings a smile to my face as well. Hope they help.

      • Well that’s certainly more laid back than I’ve been feeling about the current shitshow.

    • katanahamon

At least it’s stressful, totally embarrassing for America and reveals that about half of our population is as dumb as a box office rocks…

  • katanahamon

What difference would anything Trump does now make? Isn’t he still waiting to participate in a criminal fraud trial? Aren’t we still waiting to see his taxes? Isn’t he still a fraudulent failure desperately spinning more schemes to stay financially afloat? Isn’t the media participating fully in their own degradation or delegitimization by normalizing this loser as a qualified candidate instead of ripping him a new one at his every appearance and constantly reporting on Trump’s legacy of criminal failures like ravenous piranhas on crack? Do we just throw up our hands and say “well, guess there’s just nothing we can do…,”…

Ridiculous. Facts. Facts matter. Look at Texas..they killed their funding for women’s health, and suddenly the headline over at Huffpost says “experts puzzled” by the doubling of childbirth related fatalities in Texas. Really? That’s puzzling? This is bullshit..Democrats need to be more present, or somehow get the message out more effectively, and stress that their side is armed with the actual facts and Trump’s side is armed with conspiracy theories, and start running the montages about Trump’s flip flop statements of absolute contradiction, and listing his many awful failures. Constantly. This whole “Emperor’s New Clothes” thing really needs to stop.

    • Aynwrong

Heard this over at The Young Turks so take it with a grain of salt but apparently Texas just awarded 1.6 million in taxpayer dollars to an anti abortion outfit that in no way provides medical services or advice regarding women’s health other than putting up a website that is supposed to help people find one of those “crisis pregnancy centers” that also provide no real services or even advice.

      Conservatism is a scam.

      • katanahamon

Well, I think that conservatism has fractured into at least three different groups..the lunatics that are supporting Trump, whatever is left of the tea party, and the remainder of semi sane Republicans. This fake bubble of bullshit fomented by Fox and radio shock jocks has promulgated the problem. Hopefully, a mega fantastical crushing loss would lead to a reorganization of the sane portion of the Republican Party, and allow them to quash the more insane elements as maybe they will finally realize that that voter bloc is first of all, insane, and not their key to winning elections.

Then, hopefully Trump will be convicted of fraud for the University thing, and whatever else the media and authorities can dig up, and his dreams of an even more malignant media empire can go up in the flames that they deserve to, and we will deservedly never have to hear about Trump ever again, except when his parole reviews come up.

        • Aynwrong

Maybe it’s better to say that Conservatism as practiced today is a scam. The problem is that for as long as I’ve been following politics the scam has been the only form of Conservatism that has been practiced by the Republican party.

The best ever illustration of the “Emperor’s New Clothes” thing is in HuffPo today— go see it. You’ll laugh your ass off!!
