  • Breitbart may have given the left “permission” to berate him upon his death, but that doesn’t mean liberals have to lower themselves to that level. Having said that, the subtitle “Death of a Douche” notwithstanding, Taibbi’s article was fairly complimentary and was no where near the vitriol that Breitbart had doled out.

    • It’s not “lowering” yourself to speak truth.

Taibbi played to the masses of people who prefer sugar on top. I lost some respect for the man that he did so.

That said, I appreciated your “Breitbart” piece.

Just for the record, that old Cosby chestnut is wrong. http://www.snopes.com/radiotv/tv/rascals.asp

  • Hey Chez, I think it goes without saying that we don’t walk around wishing people dead.
On the other hand, professing false sorrow or trying to make him sound at all sympathetic, is just as ugly because it’s a blatant freaking lie.

Bob, you might enjoy Mark Ames honesty on this. At the least, after reading all the bullshit dimly penned liberal professions of “andrew was a great guy in so many ways”, I appreciate the honesty.

We are all better off without the likes of Andrew Breitbart.

    • Did you see the Piers Morgan round table the day they announced Breitbart had died? Amy Holmes, a young attractive African American Republican pundit, looked like she would break down crying at any moment and her eyes were all swollen as if she had already been at it before the show?! I’m reading a lot online about what a nice, funny guy Breitbart was “off line” and the reaction of many who knew him personally would vouch for that. But he still doesn’t get any leeway in my book because being nice to your friends and work colleagues is pretty much assumed behavior but being a dick to the rest of the world, not acceptable. And make no mistake, Breitbart was a dick. If there is a Hell, there is a special place in it reserved just for him.

      • What really shocked me is liberals twisting themselves in to pretzels in order to A) say nice things about the sociopathic idiot or B) feeling they have to justify saying bad things or nothing at all. 🙂

Watch out, Chez dropped the F-bomb about ten minutes into the show, you’ll probably want to bleep that out before you send it off to the radio station. You did catch a later one, but missed the first one. I don’t wanna see you guys in trouble 🙂

    • Damn! I missed that one. Thanks so much for catching it.

      It’s now been officially bleeped.

      • What the bleep is wrong with you, Bob! Just kidding!

  • muselet

Gentlemen, thank you for a thoughtful and civil (not to be confused with “fair and balanced”) show.

I’ll try, but I’m not sure I can take an hour of Breitbart, even from you guys. Sympathies to his family, but nothing more.
