Bubble Genius

  • Kennet

Really, Senor Equis and YesMan4 are pretty poor trolls. The only thing to be frustrated with is how clever they aren’t. It’s less like trolling and more like two MLG kids in the back seat of a car on a road trip. Little chodes.

    • missliberties

I am thinking about asking the editors to take away their posting privileges.

SE is nothing but Southern Avenger Spam.

      • Victor_the_Crab

Just keep hitting the report function on their posts and hopefully someone here takes them out to get beaten and exiled.

  • Senor Equis

Consider me the ghost of Christmas Future. And these are your Scrooge graveyard scenes:

    http://westernrifleshooters.wordpress.com/2012/09/11/what-i-saw-at-the-coup/

    http://www.bob-owens.com/2013/06/when-the-levee-breaks/

    http://www.bob-owens.com/2012/12/what-youll-see-in-the-rebellion/

Read and tread carefully. This gubm’t isn’t getting 100 million people dependent on them because they’re loving and benevolent. It’s because they want an army to unleash on everyone else when they bring this country down and finally take it over. Larry Grathwohl talked about the Weather Underground’s plan back in the early 1980s. Don’t say you weren’t warned.

  • Senor Equis

It is the EBT-cardless mobs that this government created by destroying all the jobs with globalism and making any opposition to welfare ‘raaaaaaaaaciiiiiiiiiiiisssssttt’ that will be the hordes you all will be fleeing from when the SHTF. Bubba and Senor Equis will have nothing to do with your problems. You worship those who will destroy you.

  • Senor Equis

Latest Fast and Furious/Eric Holder body count update comes from that notoriously right wing dominated publication, the Los Angeles Times:

    http://www.latimes.com/news/nation/nationnow/la-na-nn-atf-fast-furious-20130705,0,2692834.story

How oh how do the Republicans get the LA Times to repeat Faux News talking points progbot tweeps?

  • Chez, thank you so much for making the point about how much Law Enforcement gets right in the U.S. versus the small number of abuses. I’m a very liberal person who used to work in Law Enforcement and my degrees are in that field. I make that same argument at least once a week to people from all over the political spectrum. Our system isn’t perfect because human beings aren’t perfect but we DO have a system and it DOES work most of the time to catch and punish wrongdoing on the part of the police.

    • Senor Equis

It’s not the degree — most people in LE are decent or at least don’t want to abuse the public. It’s the fact that the inducements to thuggery come from big butch Sis herself and the very top.

  • YesMan4

    Cesca = hack.

    • muselet

You know, there’s a website in roughly ↙ that direction that’s more to your taste. You might want to go there instead of spending time in a place that so clearly offends you.

      –alopecia

      • YesMan4

        DB = GARBAGE

        • villemar

          I CAN TYPING!

          • YesMan4

            I’m not foreign you racist.

          • Bubble Genius

Are you the assclown I argued with on Twitter who doesn’t seem to know the difference between “racist” and “xenophobe” – neither of which is correct in this instance.

Since you need it spelled out for you (already a challenge for you, I know), villemar was calling you an idiot, not a foreigner.

          • YesMan4

I was making a joke, you utterly humorless moron.

          • Bubble Genius

            Be funnier.

          • YesMan4

            Be relevant.

        • As opposed to the erudite contributions you are currently contributing to the discussion…….

          • Senor Equis

Hey Irish gal, think of many decades it took to ‘disarm’ the IRA. And that was a few hundred hardcore fighters. Now multiply that by 200 million rifles of battlefield utility across a country 150 times the size of Ireland Northern and south. Good luck with that chica.

          • Funny, I didn’t say anything about disarming the American people. I was talking about YesMan4’s stupid and short responses above.

I’m actually a liberal who supports 2nd Amendment right supporter and I own a gun myself. I just believe in a “well regulated militia” unlike the nutters on the right.

          • Senor Equis

Good. Then BigSis has got a door kicking scenario just for you!

          • YesMan4

            Pog ma thon.

          • Bubble Genius

what are you, some kind of racist?

          • missliberties

If you feed this troll a crumb he will get wound up for hours. He needs to have his posting privileges removed from this site.

        • Lady Willpower

I HATE DAILY BANTER BECAUSE REASONS.

    • Bubble Genius

Hey, this is a fun game! Word association? YesMan4 = truculent fuck.

      • Kennet

        succulent skunk

      • Victor_the_Crab

        YesMan4+Senor Equis=circle jerks with tweezers.

      • Senor Equis

What a great argument you just made there.

    • Kennet

      Dinner for the toothless:

      • Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil and stir in macaroni from the packages, retaining cheese mix packets for later use. Cook macaroni at a rolling boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until tender but still slightly firm, 8 to 10 minutes. Drain and rinse macaroni with cold water. Return cooked macaroni to the pot.

      • Mix butter, chicken broth, and tomatoes with macaroni and bring mixture to a simmer over medium heat; stir in garlic powder, cumin, dry mustard, pepper, and contents of cheese mix packets. Stir in milk and reduce heat to low; heat soup almost to a simmer. Do not boil.

•Serve soup in bowls and top each serving with about 2 tablespoons of sour cream.

      • Bubble Genius

We can use YesMan4’s head as a sieve.

        • Senor Equis

Way to try to troll us into making something that could be construed as a threat. All I’ve said is watch out for EBT-card less zombies when the SHTF.

          • Bubble Genius

            Uh. What?

        • missliberties

The owners/editors of this blog can disable comment priveleges to the spammer who apparently thinks he has found a liberal windmill he can have an imginary victory over.

      • Senor Equis

A lot more folks with Obamaphones missing teeth than any other demographic under 70. Diabetes.

    • Senor Equis

Maybe we should use WaPost DHS troll tactics. Just keep posting one-liner or one word comments and drive down all the others.

      • Senor Equis

        try it, it’s fun!

        Nutjob

        • Senor Equis

          Tin foil hat, tee hee!

          • Senor Equis

            You’re crazy, you’re Tim McVeigh

          • Senor Equis

Rinse, repeat DHS trolling procedures. Put on another pot of coffee at the fusion center and scratch your ass

      • Bubble Genius

I reckon you spend a lot of time talking to yourself like this. It certainly explains a lot, although it doesn’t make you any more interesting, or relevant.

  • villemar

By the way, heh thank you Chez for the oblique reference to my mockery of the Snowden Facebook meme. Here it is in all of it’s glory: http://img801.imageshack.us/img801/1599/il7k.jpg

And yes, it’s that Amber Lyons: http://thedailybanter.com/2013/06/why-is-amber-lyon-peddling-conspiracy-theories-over-michael-hastings-death/

  • muselet

Just as “Dragon and Phoenix” is prawns and chicken, I can well imagine “Hoisin Crispy Owl” being a poetically-named dish of chicken fingers with a splash of hoisin out of a jar, the house special at a down-at-heel Chinese restaurant. (And twenty-cheese omelet sounds interesting in an over-the-top sort of way.) Bob, it’s been too long since you’ve referenced that bit.

Edward Snowden, as I said earlier on the blog, will be lucky if Venezuelan authorities allow him to use a feature phone, let alone anything connected to the internet. It will be fun to see how he adapts to life in a gilded cage.

William Parker professionalized the LAPD in the 1950s, and not a moment too soon. Unfortunately, he also militarized the department, with at best mixed results. It’s not surprising other cities followed LA’s lead, since a militarized police force reacting to crimes is smaller and cheaper than a force of cops walking beats and preventing crimes.

Sideboob Central had a big, screaming link at the top of the front page this morning to a Radley Balko story titled “7 Ways the Obama Administration Has Accelerated Police Militarization” and (please tell me no one’s surprised) those seven ways were congressional programs the administration hasn’t unilaterally stopped.

Bob, you’re right of course about what the debate should have been regarding the NSA, but that would have been insufficiently sexy and outrage-inducing for Snowden and Glenn Greenwald and their groupies (and the websites that exist to take advantage of misdirected outrage—hi, Arianna!).

Chez, the other thing wrong with the way Greenwald operates, especially on this story, is that he doesn’t have the chops to determine when someone’s bamboozling him and can’t bring himself to ask around. Snowden brought him a story that sounded plausible to him and reinforced his preconceptions, so Greenwald ran with it. As a journalist—to borrow a line from Charlie Pierce—he’s a darned good plumber.

Ed Kilgore informs us that the Cato Institute’s Jason Kuznicki has decided that Rand Paul is no libertarian, in large part because of his embrace of neoconfederates. Boy, that Scotsman sure gets around, doesn’t he?

Bob, The Southern Avenger’s mask was a Mexican lucha libre mask. Although the thought of a Righty shock jock appearing in public wearing a gimp mask makes me entirely too happy.

I’ve quoted him before on the subject, but long ago Dan Savage quite rightly said that Republicans want a government small enough to fit in a woman’s vagina. And I repeat my own question: why on Earth would any woman vote for any R?

“he doesn’t have the chops to determine when someone’s bamboozling him and can’t bring himself to ask around. Snowden brought him a story that sounded plausible to him and reinforced his preconceptions, so Greenwald ran with it.”

I would say that Snowden became enamored of Greenwald (A lot of Ron Paul devotees made the very easy switch over to Greenwald once Ron Paul’s huffy-puffy jalopy ran out of steam after the 2012 primaries) and did what he did at Greenwald’s very specific direction.

      • muselet

Perhaps so. At this point it doesn’t much matter who used who.

        –alopecia

      • Senor Equis

You mean the Karl Rove rigged so Rick Santorum exactly tied with Mittens primaries?

    • Is it Treat Day yet?

      • YesMan4

are you still a pro-establishment shill?

        • Bubble Genius

Are you still a non-sequituring assclown?

          • YesMan4

            whatevah

        • Senor Equis

          Bobby is.

      • muselet

        Counting the hours.

        –alopecia

      • Senor Equis

Remember Bobby, when the NSA has a public meeting to announce their shiny new data center in Utah, some folks outside will be holding signs with slung AR-15s. Just to remind the scumbags you’re shilling for if they start using their agency to blackbag Americans there’s a hell of a lot more of us than them.

        • Senor Equis

You want to spy on us all you want? Just remember 200 million firearms 4 billion rounds in private hands. Still feeling cocky D.C. fascists?

          • villemar

Good luck with that, Timmy McVeigh.

          • Senor Equis

Who was on the fed payroll and a patsy.

          • Senor Equis

I threaten no one. It’s the people whose boots you lick in D.C. who will get you all killed. Don’t say you weren’t warned. They’re building up this EBT card bubble to blow up the country.

          • Bubble Genius

            You forgot CHEMTRAILS ZOMG

    • a militarized police force reacting to crimes is smaller and cheaper than a force of cops walking beats and preventing crimes

Another reason given (not sure if it caused it or if it was used as an excuse to militarize) was the fact that criminals, particularly gangs, were using more and more powerful military style weapons and tactics. In some specific parts of the country, the police are absolutely outgunned. Thankfully, those locations are limited. Also, too, if the NRA has their way, it will be everywhere.

      • Senor Equis

Yeah because all the kids who just got shot in Chicago last weekend were packing AKs and ARs. LOL

        • Sigh….I said some areas. I didn’t say Chicago nor specify those shootings. Jeez…Here’s what I’m talking about….there’s video from a few years ago in LA I think of the shoot out between a couple of bank robbers and the police. The bank robbers have some very serious weaponry, much better than the cops, and they’re engaging in the kind of shoot out you would expect in a Hollywood movie, not on a Hollywood street. That’s just one example…I can find plenty more but I don’t have the time nor energy right now.

Besides I said above, “it’s a reason that is given” and not sure if it’s an excuse or not. I can confidently say that law enforcement officers are worried about being outgunned in many jurisdictions (including the Arizona border area).

          • Senor Equis

Well despite being ‘outgunned’ do you know what the cops did to those bank robbers? That’s right, shot em’ dead. And if they’d taken a sniper shot from a police helo it wouldn’t have mattered. Not a good example at all.

    • Senor Equis

Bob, you’re right of course about what the debate should have been regarding the NSA, but that would have been insufficiently sexy and outrage-inducing for Snowden and Glenn Greenwald and their groupies (and the websites that exist to take advantage of misdirected outrage—hi, Arianna!).

The only groupies I see is the TROLL TROLL TROLL @ggreenwald club which includes Bob Cesca, @LibertyLynx, an asshole University of Houston Professor named Craig Pirrong who goes by the handle @Streetwiseprof and once notoriously compared Ron Paul to Pol Pot, @Wikihype (paid by the tweet to troll, judging by the output) and Chucky where’s my Johnson of a site no one has cared about since 2004, Little Green Football-ess. Am I missing anyone?

  • So, that nutbag (on the right) knows he looks like a Mexican wrestler, right?

    • Bubble Genius

I believe his stage name is El Imbécil.
