Okay, Donald Trump might take the bait and demonstrate that he’s a frothing lunatic. So what?

People who are Clinton supporters already believe that, people who are Trump supporters will never believe that, the self-identified “undecideds” are too dumb to find the internet, and it wouldn’t be the first time Trump’s gone nuts in public.

I don’t understand the point of the ad, but it’s a matter of taste, I suppose.

Sadly, I agree. I wanted to laugh at this. Maybe if the singer had belted it out a little stronger.

      Such a buzzkill.

The ad has gotten play on air. Trump or someone working for him will probably respond to it. And like it or not, memes and high caliber trolling move the conservation on social media. I’m glad Democrats understand that.

As I am typing this, Trump is continuing to devolve in real-time on a stage in Florida. He’s declared war on everyone.

Besides all of that, it’s just plain funny and I got a kick out of it.

I don’t know about this ad in particular, because it’s already been taken down.

But there aren’t just two categories of Trump supporters. There are degrees. And every time he stoops to a lower level, he loses some more of his supporters. They’ll either retreat to their happy place and not vote, or they’ll vote for someone else or write in Pence, like Kelly Ayotte claims she will.

The big hope and new strategy for Clinton and the Democrats is to keep Trump tied to the Republican Party and try to make gains in the House and Senate. If Democrats can regain both chambers either this year or 2018, we’ll get the kind of progress like we got in the first two years of Obama. If not, we’ll get some steps here and there.

FiveThirtyEight has him between 9.9 and 17.4% to win.
