The Marco Rubio/Rand Paul Stupid-Off Continues

In the battle between Marco Rubio and Rand Paul, who will win? Who cares?

“Rand, if he wants to become the chief cheerleader of Obama’s foreign policy, he certainly has a right to do that,” Rubio told ABC News. “I’m going to continue to oppose the Obama-Paul foreign policy on Cuba because I know it won’t lead to freedom and liberty for the Cuban people, which is my sole interest here.”

[…]

Paul struck back on Twitter a few hours after Rubio’s appearance on “This Week,” saying the Florida Republican had forgotten to mention his own “support for Obama’s funding of [the Muslim] Brotherhood, arming Islamic rebels, and Hillary’s war in Libya.

No, you love the president’s policies!

I believe this round goes to Marco Rubio, but it’s a close call. Rand’s weakness is in citing things that didn’t actually happen or don’t exist.

The primaries will be grand.

So. We have now entered the era of “I know you are, but what am I?” diplomacy. Or, “Nuh uh, you’re a poopyhead!”

Exactly my thoughts. It’s like watching two toddlers argue.

  • i know it’s like sticking my head in the sand, but I have been trying really, really hard not to pay attention to the wingnuttiest of the wingnuts……..damn you, Ashby! 🙂

Sadly though, the wingnuttier they are, the noisier they are.

“Rand’s weakness is in citing things that didn’t actually happen or don’t exist.”

Well, to be fair, to the hearts and “minds” of the mouth breathing primary voters that Rubio and Rand are fighting over “Obama’s funding of the Muslim Brotherhood” and “Hillary’s war in Libya” are verifiable, set in stone, factual events.

I can only imagine what President Obama is going to be characterized as and accused of during the 2016 primary debates if we are at this level already. I only hope Democrats don’t need to do the same thing.

  • “support for Obama’s funding of [the Muslim] Brotherhood, arming Islamic rebels, and Hillary’s war in Libya.”

They really think that these are actually things?

    Jebus.

Yup. Just like “Obama said we should all hate the police,” per Rudy n.-v.-9/11 Guiliani.

Rubio, 54 years of sanctions on Cuba has amassed so much freedom for the people that they bleed the color of liberty, right? Oh and I have to ask, what are your thoughts on China specifically in regards to human rights and more specifically Tibet?
