Trump is Still Hiring Foreign Workers

Despot-elect Donald Trump will continue to make the Mar-A-Lago great again this winter season after gaining approval to hire over 60 foreign workers.

The new hires for his bugged resort and location of possible insurance fraud were approved in late October just a couple weeks before the election.

He’s paying some of them less than they made last year, and most get just a 1 percent raise.

As the presidential campaign heated up, Trump won approval to hire 64 foreign workers through the federal government’s H-2B visa program, according to newly released data from the U.S. Labor Department. Last year, Trump was allowed to hire 69 foreign workers at Mar-a-Lago.

Virtually every major company in the world hires foreign workers through equivalent programs, and I don't necessarily begrudge them for that, but Trump ran for office on a platform of bringing back "American" jobs.

The so-called "white working class" have no idea what's about to hit them. There will be no wall. There will be no jobs. There will be no healthcare. There will be plenty of racism, so I guess they've got that going for them.

And once he actually becomes President, he’ll suddenly get approved for 2,000 foreign workers. But there won’t be a conflict of interest mentioned.

The last paragraph for sure. The working class people who voted for this turd are going to be the one’s the most hurt by him. Unless, of course, he tanks almost everything which I think is a distinct possibility.

The white working class got played for chumps by Donald Trump. I can only quote Charlie Pierce: “I hope the opportunity to hock a loogie at the system was worth it.”

Well, that loogie is going to get blown right back in their faces, along with a whole bunch of other loogies the GOP will hock at them.

  • Indeed, it will be a worker’s paradise! /snark obviously
