Unchecked Tyranny

(Cartoonist - Nick Anderson)

In other news, conservatives are apparently upset because the infamous liberal media isn't attacking their frontrunner enough. Let that sink in.

Meanwhile, Alabama Governor Robert Bentley (R) has signed a bill that prohibits cities from increasing their own minimum wages.

And finally, Senate Majority Whip John Cornyn said something about Donald Trump that I interpret as a threat.

"If Mr. Trump does become the president of the United States, he's going to need a Republican majority to govern, and I think he would welcome working with Republican majorities in the House and the Senate to move his and the country's agenda forward," Senate Majority Whip John Cornyn of Texas said on Dallas-Fort Worth radio station KSKY.

Taken in context with Speaker Paul Ryan's recent comments, congressional Republicans are clearly worried about their presidential frontrunner pursuing an agenda that doesn't align with theirs. From an electoral standpoint they should be worried, but they have only themselves to blame.

Have a good weekend. I'm all out of steam.
