Trump administration officials have been pressing for a House vote before the end of November, although a key U.S. labor leader earlier this month said it would fail if it was voted on before the Thanksgiving holiday on Nov. 28.

The reason we haven't heard much about this in the last year is because it doesn't matter.
There's no urgency in Congress to pass it or reject it because it's a big nothing. It's virtually identical to what's already on the books. Congress may ratify the deal before the end of the year, or they may not. I mean, I'll cover it here when something happens but, ultimately, no one but Wall Street traders are going to notice. And even that will be fleeting.
