I was just looking at the roll call vote on prohibiting the funds for closing Guantanamo. The vote was 90-6 which means there had to have been some liberal senators voting with the Republicans.
Sure enough, Sanders and Feingold both voted for the amendment (with Reid, the Republicans and against the president). The six senators who voted to provide the funding were Durbin, Harkin, Leahy, Reed, Levin and Whitehouse.
What am I missing about this amendment? Jeepers creepers. Sanders and Feingold?
