Rand Paul Stupid Party

When Rubio and Paul Argue, Everyone Else Wins

I love the smell of infighting in the morning.

When it comes to Sen. Rand Paul’s (R-KY) support for the Obama administration’s new policy on Cuba, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) said the senator from Kentucky doesn’t know what he’s talking about.

“Like many people who have been opining, he has no idea what he’s talking about,” Rubio said during an appearance on Fox News’ “The Kelly Report” that was flagged by Politico.

I maintain that neither Rubio or Paul have any idea what they’re talking about, but this is great stuff.

From where I’m sitting, Rubio and Paul may as well be arguing over the correct pronunciation of “gif.”

I find it hard to believe that anyone under the age of 70 has strong feelings about maintaining an embargo of Cuba and I doubt very many voters under the age of 30 were even aware that we still impose an embargo on Cuba.

With that said, please proceed.

I guess carrying every assisted living facility in Little Havana in a landslide is terribly important to Marco Rubio.

… unless they’re a Republican in which case they have very strong feelings about it. Not because they care one way or the other about Cuba, but because it’s something Obama did.

    Agreed.

Rand’s national fan boys likely have no idea what U.S. policy is toward Cuba is or have visions of joining the wave of American carpet baggers who will descend on a “freer” Cuba to try and carve it up for profit. So it is another cheap, low electoral risk, way for Rand to appear principled.

Rubio is the bought and paid for representative (and member) of the very people to whom continuing to punish Cuba for kicking them (or their dads) out of power 56 years ago is priority 1 until they can return and retake their “birth right.”
