You may have noticed that I haven't been covering the Elena Kagan nomination. A couple of reasons.
First, because it's reached whole new depths of stupid.
And, secondly, the Republicans are just as crazy as always, but they're obviously just going through the motions and I refuse to waste time on refuting attacks that are nothing but window dressing in a nomination process that will clearly result in Elena Kagan being sworn in as our next Supreme Court justice.
Ultimately, I can either spend my blogging time on serious things like the oil spill, or I can spend it batting down ridiculous attacks like softball photos and awfulness like this. Yeah, Pat Buchanan wrote that if Kagan is sworn in there will be too many Jews in the Court. It's getting this stupid. Too many Jews.
