Another Trump Appointee Registers as a Foreign Agent

Written by SK Ashby

Fox News contributor Monica Crowley came within inches of stepping into the White House to serve under former national security advisory Michael Flynn and, just like Flynn, she has now registered as a foreign agent.

Crowley's lawyers have informed the Justice department that she will lobby for a pro-Putin Ukrainian oligarch.

Monica Crowley told the Justice Department's National Security Division that she will represent billionaire Victor Pinchuk in discussions with U.S. government officials “and other policy makers” regarding “issues of concern to Mr. Pinchuk.”

Crowley, a Fox News contributor, was in line for a senior post at the White House National Security Council until reports from CNN and Politico reported that she had plagiarized large portions of her 2012 book What the (Bleep) Just Happened and her Columbia University Ph.D. dissertation.

We know Michael Flynn was lobbying on behalf of the government of Turkey while advising Trump and attending classified intelligence briefings because he admitted as much, but we don't necessarily know if Crowley was advising Trump while representing a Putin stooge. Crowley was ostensibly offered the job only after she was busted for plagiarism and withdrew as an appointee, but color me skeptical.

There are far too many connections between Trump and his inner circle and foreign governments for there to not be more to the story. All roads lead to Trump himself.
