Far-right tea party Republicans in Indiana ousted Dick Lugar yesterday in the Senate primary there.
The moderates continue to be purged from the party. It goes without saying this is killing the Republican Party from within -- mainly because centrist independent voters probably won't follow the GOP that far to the right.
Instead, they right-leaners will probably lurch over to the moderate Democrats. And that's good news.
Meanwhile, watch for Richard Mourdock to join the Crazy Caucus.
