It now seems beyond doubt that Colin Powell will endorse Barack Obama and thereby hammer the final nail in the coffin of the Republican campaign to hold onto the White House.
O'Donnell brings up the ethnically-motivated hate-fest that Palin, McCain and their surrogates have been employing of late as something that certainly isn't lost on Powell. Who at McMoron HQ continues to suggest that their strategeries are working? Is the tail wagging the dog here, and Steve "I'm Right All the Time" Schmidt and his lobbyist pal Rick "I'm Not A Lobbyist Anymore Really (Pretty Much)" Davis are pushing all these truly awful (ethically AND politically) ideas down John McShitbird's throat? Or is the top dog himself directing the tail in all this? Hard to say, but history would indicate that while it's probably a bit of both, that McBossypants prides himself on being the loudest and brashest voice in the room. I'm not saying he's dictating how many times some surrogate introduces him by shouting "HOO-SANE!", but I think it's evident that he is laying down policy that says, "we gotta gut that one where he sits!"
