Not content with the planned Republican rebuttal of President Obama's State of the Union address which is to be presented by possible 2012 contender Paul Ryan, Michele Bachmann is planning to deliver her very own rebuttal on behalf of the Teabaggers Tea Party.
I suppose the mainstream address given by Paul Ryan isn't expected to meet the Tea Party's standards. Its also possible Bachmann is positioning herself to run against Ryan in the primaries. Who can throw the most red meat at their constituents?
WASHINGTON -- House Budget Chairman Paul Ryan (R-Wisc.) will be offering the formal Republican response to President Barack Obama's State of the Union address Tuesday night.
But for those conservatives who want more of a tea-flavored rebuttal, fret not: Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) will be giving her two cents, as well.
