Biden Repeals Trump Ban On Legal Immigration

Written by SK Ashby

The Trump regime used the plausable deniability of the coronavirus pandemic to halt most legal immigration by freezing the issuance of green card visas, but President Biden has now repealed the Trump-era policy.

Biden signed an executive order to reopen the legal immigration process.

Biden stated in his proclamation Wednesday that shutting the door on legal immigrants “does not advance the interests of the United States."

“To the contrary, it harms the United States, including by preventing certain family members of United States citizens and lawful permanent residents from joining their families here. It also harms industries in the United States that utilize talent from around the world," Biden stated in his proclamation.

Most immigrant visas were blocked by the orders, according to immigration lawyers.

Halting legal immigration in the interests of public health may have been a slightly more believable motivation if it came from virutally any other presidential administration, but coming from the Trump regime it wasn't believable at all.

The Trump regime never took the coronavirus seriously to begin with and halting most if not all legal immigration was always the goal of Trump and his top adviser Stephen Miller. White supremacy was the goal.

I don't know if this Congress will pass comprehensive immigration reform, but they need to so the next Trump wannabe cannot arbitarily abuse or break the whole system using the wide range of executive discreton built into current federal law.
