Bill O’Reilly said on his show last night that nurse Kaci Hickox should be arrested for refusing to quarantine herself.
But she won’t be arrested, Bill lamented, because “the feds have no Ebola policy at all.”
Or maybe it’s because she isn’t infected with Ebola and you can’t arrest her just because you feel like it.
The amount of incoherent, irrational, utterly-deluded wharrgarble and panic being hurled at Kaci Hickox is astonishing. The only thing she’s guilty of is trying to help those who the likes of Bill O’Reilly and Paul LePage wouldn’t be caught in the same room with.
Does Bill O’Reilly give a single fuck about Ebola deaths in West Africa? If he did, he wouldn’t call for the arrest of healthcare workers which could have a chilling effect on others who might consider volunteering.
If you selflessly travel abroad to treat the sick, risking your own life in the process, you can expect to be treated like a leper when you return home.
