The Cost of a Republican Vote

If the centrist cuts to the recovery bill equal the elimination of upwards of 2.5 million new jobs (in 2009), and if the centrist cuts managed to attain three Senate Republican votes for the recovery bill, that means...

One Republican vote equals 833,333 fewer jobs created (this year alone).

Those three Republicans, along with the centrists responsible for the cuts, should have to go around and explain why those 2.5 million Americans don't need jobs.

Tell your congressmembers that if they have to cut "bad" programs, the savings should be added to the "good" programs. More spending equals more jobs equals more growth.
