Bring Your Guns… work.

The Missouri House of Representatives passed a bill this week which adds gun owners to the state's list of protected groups. A list which does not include members of the LGBT community.

The state of Missouri has no laws that protect LGBT people from employment or housing discrimination, but yesterday the Missouri House advanced a new nondiscrimination bill that protects gun owners. Were the law to pass, it would ensure that anyone who legally carries a firearm cannot be fired, denied benefits, or otherwise discriminated against for that choice.

It's not against the law to fire someone in Missouri because they're gay, but it will soon be against the law to fire someone for bringing a gun to work.

Because more work-place shootings is exactly what this country needs. Protecting gays would just be detrimental to society. Or something.
