This sort of message is entirely what Senator Obama was talking about with his "bitter" remarks. Rural Americans clinging to their guns and religion, etc. And everyone was outraged. But here's the far-right: talking about which God is bigger, talking about baby-killing and talking about gun regulations. The far-right is desperate and they're absolutely scrounging votes by exploiting these issues -- and as we've seen in various videos of McCain rally-goers, people are, in fact, extraordinarily bitter.
