In other news, Trump's National Security Adviser Robert O'Brien is now the highest ranking Trump regime official to be infected by the coronavirus.

Meanwhile, following the arrest of Ohio House Speaker Larry Householder for taking bribes to pass the bailout for coal and nuclear plants (funded by ratepayers, like me), Governor Mike DeWine has called for repealing and replacing the bailout law. More importantly, the replacement being discussed would bring back the state's green energy mandates.

How about we bring back the green standards and forget the rest?

Finally, GOP donors spent a lot of money on Trump's convention and they have nothing to show for it now that it's been canceled.

Of the $38 million raised by the host committee for the convention’s original location — Charlotte, North Carolina — the majority has been spent, the Republican officials said. The host committee in Jacksonville, Florida, where Trump had moved the convention, raised an additional $6 million, but GOP officials said much of that money remains.

Now, the president’s team is searching not only for a new stage from which he can deliver a speech accepting his party’s nomination for a second term, but also a way to appease Republicans who have nothing to show for their donations.

It's completely on-brand for Trump to stiff people who gave him money.
