Conspiracy Theorist GOP Senator is Already Calling for Impeachment

Written by SK Ashby

Senator and Lego Movie conspiracy theorist Ron Johnson (R-WI) spoke to the local press in Wisconsin where, before the election is even over, he called for impeaching President Hillary Clinton.

Johnson says Clinton should be impeached because she did a thing that the FBI found no evidence of and, according to Johnson, the FBI found no evidence of it because the FBI is corrupt.

“I would say yes, high crime or misdemeanor, I believe she is in violation of both laws,” Johnson told the Beloit Daily News in an interview published Tuesday. [...] “She purposefully circumvented it,” Johnson said. “This was willful concealment and destruction.” [...]

“That was a corrupt conclusion,” Johnson said of the FBI decision to recommend not bringing forth charges.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if history repeats itself and Republicans try to impeach a president named Clinton for political reasons, but Ron Johnson may not get a chance to see it if he's defeated next week by Russ Feingold.

As for FBI "corruption," it appears Republicans are going to stick by that line of attack as long as Clinton isn't indicted for unspecified reasons. Their recent actions suggest rogue factions within the FBI are trying to swing the election in favor of Republicans, but the GOP won't be happy until someone tells them Clinton is guilty of something. Anything.
