Convenient for him to forget that indigenous women are the victims of sexual assault at a FAR higher rate than any other group of women. 56% have experienced sexual violence and 90% of them have been the victims of violence at the hands of non-tribal members, i.e., white men, because the men know they historically have not been prosecuted by the Feds due to a legal loophole. Eastman can seriously go f*ck himself.

Eastman made his remarks after working to amend a resolution to proclaim next April as Sexual Assault Awareness Month and Child Abuse Prevention Month. Eastman’s amendment inserted a statement that abortion is the “ultimate form of child abuse.”

Because of course he did.

When David Eastman gets pregnant, his opinion may be worth something.
