John McCain

Country First — Or Something

McCain is on his way to Mississippi for tonight's debate. Jonathan Chait:

And now, after insisting it would be unpatriotic to campaign and debate before bailout legislation had been completed, is debating anyway, even though a deal is further away than it was when he suspended his campaign.

So what can we deduce from McCain's blinking here? By McCain's own definition, he's being unpatriotic and putting politics before country.

You know what McCain is? A spaz.
