It is never about jobs. Walker proposed to risk harming an industry that provides something like 190,000 jobs and 12-19 billion in revenue (depending on the year) to this state for a mining operation in the most pristine part of the state that at best might provide a couple hundred jobs there for maybe 20 years. It ain’t ever about jobs or any genuine economic engine for the state. It is usually about campaign contributions from certain industries.
