Dylan Ratigan Leaving MSNBC

Ratigan is leaving to spend more time with the sound of his own voice.

MSNBC host Dylan Ratigan is leaving the network at the end of the month, the New York Times reported this evening. Ratigan, who hosts the 4PM hour on weekdays and focused often on the power of money in politics and corporate dominance, told Brian Stelter that he was leaving to “put into practice what he has talked about on TV.”

The obvious replacement for Ratigan is William Shatner (here's a proto-Ratigan performance), but it sounds like they're moving Bashir to 4PM (perfect for late-afternoon napping) and filling the 3PM slot with random cable news talkers.
