In other news, another Republican is demanding that Obama administration ignore the law to please him. Nebraska Gov. Dave Heineman (R) wants the names of all undocumented children being housed at federal facilities in his state even though current law prohibits the federal government from releasing their names.
Why does he want their names? It’s not entirely clear but apparently he’s very concerned that the children will escape and do… something.
Meanwhile, Citigroup will pay $7 billion, including a record $4 billion civil penalty, to settle a Justice Department investigation into the subprime mortgage market that crashed the economy in 2008.
